Rematch Will Also Be Coming To Game Pass
From the creators of the hit title, Sifu comes Rematch. A new action-infused online football experience is set to launch on June 19, 2025.
It has also been confirmed that the game will be a day-one addition to Xbox Game Pass.
The game will also be coming to PC and PlayStation 5.
Players can also register for an open beta that will take place on Steam from April 18th to 19th. You can register by heading to www.playrematch.com.
Teamwork, strategy and skill are very the focus of Rematch. The gameplay is set up for non-stop action-based competitive play. There are no fouls, offsides or VAR.
Players will take part in competitive online 5v5 matches or there is also a range of quickplay modes to choose from. However, the game is designed from the ground up to be an online multiplayer experience.
The developer has also confirmed that there will be new content added seasonally. Ne game modes and cosmetic items can both be expected post-launch.
An action-orientated online competitive football game certainly was not on my 2025 bingo card. With Rematch coming as a day-one addition to Xbox Game Pass, however, I certainly don’t think I will show this game the red card!
