Today marks the fifth anniversary of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the popular real-time strategy game that has attracted a growing player base and received extensive updates since its release. Over the past five years, the game has expanded significantly, with additional content that includes seven DLC packs, new game modes, and a variety of updates and fixes to enhance gameplay.
As part of the celebration, Age of Empires II: DE now includes three major DLCs for free. Lords of the West, Dawn of the Dukes, and Dynasties of India are now part of the base game. This expanded edition is available across all platforms, including the Xbox Cloud Gaming version. This means that those playing through Game Pass Ultimate can play these DLCs for free too.
