Antstream Arcade, the retro cloud gaming service, has added two new games to its already massive game library. One of these games is an indie homebrew game from the ZX Spectrum, and the second is the first game added to Antstream from the Pico-8 virtual console. In this article, we will review both of these games, and you can decide if it’s worth your time to check either of them out.
Alien Girl (ZX Spectrum):
The first of the two games we are going to discuss is the ZX Spectrum homebrew game Alien Girl. In this game, you play as an alien-human hybrid named Allana, who sets out to achieve balance between humans and xenoforms by any means necessary. This game came out in 2021. So it is one of the newest games in the Antstream library, but it is also one of the more interesting-sounding games.
Puzzles Of The Paladin (Pico-8):
The second game on our list is the first Pico-8 for the Antstream platform, Puzzles Of The Paladin, In this game, you play as a young hero from the bustling city of Himmuang who dreams of becoming one of the legendary paladins and decides to set out on an adventure to test his mettle, honor and prove himself worthy of becoming a paladin. This game looks and sounds very similar to the early games in The Legend of Zelda series. It is an interesting game to be added to Antstream as it is one of the best Pico-8 games to bring over as their first game for the Antstream platform.
