Antstream Arcade, the world’s largest retro gaming cloud gaming platform, has added two brand new retro sports games to its already massive game catalogue. One of these games comes from the ZX Spectrum, and the other comes from the arcade. So we’re going to go over both of these sports games so you can tell whether or not you want to check them out.
Football Manager (ZX Spectrum)
The first game on our list is Football Manager on the ZX Spectrum. This game was developed by Addictive Games back in 1982 and sees you managing your own football (soccer to you Americans) as you rise through the ranks of the football league. This is one of the earliest football management games, and it is definitely one that, whilst it feels rather dated compared to today’s standards, it is definitely worth playing just to see how far football management games have come over the decades.
Ultimate Tennis (Arcade)
The second game on our list is Ultimate Tennis, an arcade tennis video game from 1994. In this game, you must swing, smash and score your way as you step into the shoes of a pro tennis player and do your best to get the highest score and become the best tennis player in the world. This game isn’t bad, and if you’re a fan of arcade sports games or just tennis games in general, then I highly recommend you check out Ultimate Tennis just to try it out.
