Antstream Arcade is the retro gaming cloud gaming service with over 1300+ games. They have added two new games to their continuously growing gaming library. The lineup includes one Amiga game from classic Japanese game publisher Data East and the second game comes from Gaelco a Spanish arcade publisher whose assets are controlled by Piko Interactive. Let’s go over these games and whether you should check them out.
Midnight Resistance (Amiga)
The first game on our list is the Amiga port of the classic arcade game Midnight Resistance. In this game, you must join the resistance and fight through waves of enemies as you fight to free your family and defeat the evil King Crimson. This is the second version of Midnight Resistance on Antstream Arcade. The original version from the arcades is also on the Antstream platform. Now, If you want to check out this run-and-gun game, you have two different versions to check out.
Thunder Hoop (Arcade)
The second game on our list is the arcade game Thunder Hoop from the Spanish arcade publisher Gaelco, which was republished by Piko Interactive. In this game, you must defeat the mad scientist Professor Genbreak, who is trying to take over the world with strange mutants. You must take on the role of the hero and battle your way to save the world. This is an obscure game which I’m glad has come to the Antstream Arcade platform, especially as many publishers like Piko Interactive have a treasure trove of games which are considered “lost” in their libraries.
