Antstream Arcade, the retro gaming cloud gaming, has added two brand-new games in the Turrican game series to its expansive catalog. The games in question are both on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, and both belong to the Turrican franchise. The games are Mega Turrican and Mega Turrican: The Director’s Cut. So let’s go over these games.
Mega Turrican (Mega Drive)
After many generations, the evil computer system known as The Machine has returned. Your hero Bren McGuire who is a proud member of the USS Freedom Forces must step into his Turrican assault suit one last time to defeat The Machine once and for all. This game’s inclusion on Antstream follows a long trend of adding more games in the Turrican series from developer and publisher Factor 5.
Mega Turrican The Director’s Cut (Mega Drive)
In this game, you must lead Bren McGuire into battle with his Turrican assault suit against the vial computer system known as The Machine. Generations have pasted, but Bren must answer the call and destroy The Machine once and for all. This game contains levels and content which were cut from the original Mega Turrican base game.
