Antstream Arcade has added two brand-new games to its already massive gaming catalogue. The games in question both come from the MSX line of home computers. Let’s go over these two games and whether or not they’re worth your time.
Virgil’s Purgatory EX (MSX):
The first game we are going to go over is the Metroidvania Virgil’s Purgatory EX, where you play as Virgil, who is dead and must go through different levels and battle monsters to reclaim his true head, escape from purgatory, and rest in peace. This is definitely an interesting game and reminds me of games such as Dead Cells, so it is for sure a game that I will be checking out on Antstream Arcade.
Zanac EX (MSX):
The second game on our list is the classic MSX game Zanac EX. In this game, you must take on an ancient evil alien force; however, the level of difficulty changes depending on how well you play. This game is a side-scrolling shmup, which is a welcome addition to Antstream Arcade.
