Antstream Arcade Adds Two New Games On 1980s Microcomputers

Antstream Arcade is a retro gaming cloud gaming platform that currently offers gamers a total of 1322 unique video games (and more if you count different versions of games across different retro systems). So, we are going to take a look at the latest two video games that were added to Antstream Arcade.

Pit Stop (Atari 8-Bit Computer)

The first game we are going to be talking about is the Epyx Software classic Pit Stop. This game is a classic racing game from 1983, where, alongside the need to control your “need for speed,” you also need to try to avoid crashing into other cars and obstacles on the track. If you take too much damage, then you will have to make a pit stop to repair your car. Pit Stop is one of the most iconic racing video games from the 1980s and is one of the ones that is still fun to play to this day.

Xenon (Amstrad CPC)

The next game on our list is a classic British shoot ’em up from the legendary software house known as The Bitmap Brothers. This game is Xenon. Xenon was released in the year 1988 as video games were at the peak of their revival and Xenon was the game that made people pay attention to The Bitmap Brothers. However, since this game is on the Amstrad CPC, it’s not as fast as its sequel – also available on Antstream Arcade which offers the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis version in Xenon 2 Megablast, which I think is a superior game.
