Antstream Arcade Adds Two Obscure Games

Antstream Arcade Banner - A purple-haired girl is immersed in some retro gaming on Antstream Arcade, with various pixel-art game characters from classic NES titles in the background.

Antstream Arcade, the world’s largest retro gaming cloud service, has added two brand new games to its massive library. The two games come from different platforms, as one comes from the SNES and the other comes from the ZX Spectrum, the latter of which is a homebrew game. So let’s go over these two games and whether or not they are worth your time.

Iron Commando (SNES):

The first game on our list is the 1995 SNES beat ’em up Iron Commando. In this game, you must battle through hordes of thugs from the G.H.O.S.T. Organization. Your mission is to punch, kick, and use your firepower to recover a radioactive meteorite for the good guys. What’s interesting about this game is that it was considered lost media until Piko Interactive claimed the rights to it and re-released it on multiple platforms, including Antstream Arcade.

Nosy (ZX Spectrum):

The next game on our list is a haunting ZX Spectrum homebrew game from 2022, titled Nosy. In this game, you must save a haunted religious orphanage from an evil demon. Are you brave enough to battle the demon and save the day, or will you die trying? This is definitely an interesting concept for a homebrew game, and it is one that I will be trying out this weekend.
