Risky Woods & Wonder Planet Now Available on Antstream Arcade

Antstream Arcade the retro gaming cloud gaming platform with 1300+ games has today released two brand new games onto the platform as they do every Tuesday. One of these games is an obscure Arcade classic and the other is a hidden gem for the Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis. So in this article, we will dive into both of these games and show you if they’re worth playing if you’re an Antstream Arcade subscriber.

Wonder Planet (Arcade)

The first game on our list comes from legendary game publisher Data East, Wonder Planet. In this game, you take to the skies, where you must upgrade your fighter as you battle waves of enemies. This is another classic Japanese vertical shmup game that plays very similarly to Namco’s Xevious arcade game. It’s a welcome addition to the already shmup-filled library of Antstream Arcade. Wonder Planet is a game that is on my playlist this weekend. You can check out Wonder Planet on Antstream Arcade now.

Risky Woods (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis)

The second game on our list is one that was actually announced back during the Antstream August Connect. The game in question is Risky Woods. In Risky Woods, you must help save the ancient monks of the Lost Lands who have been frozen in stone. You must adventure through the Risky Woods and free them to restore wisdom to the land. This was one of my most hyped games announced during the Antstream August Connect. I’m glad that it has finally been added to the Antstream platform!
