From retro revivals like Double Dragon Revive and Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons to original titles like Demon’s Night Fever and Dear Me, I was…, the livestream gave fans a look at what’s coming next from the studio and its partners.

Whether you’re into classic arcade action, story-driven adventures, or stylish fighting games, there was something here worth checking out. Here’s a breakdown of everything announced during the Arc System Works Showcase.

Dear Me, I was… Brings a Textless Rotoscoped Story to Nintendo Switch 2

Arc System Works revealed Dear Me, I was…, a new interactive adventure coming this summer to Nintendo Switch 2. The game features no dialogue, instead telling its story through animation, sound, and visual expression.

Developed using a rotoscoping technique, where live-action footage is traced and hand-drawn, the project was described by its developers as a challenging but meaningful effort. The team said the game is aimed at adult women and was designed to help you feel a bit more positive after playing.

Double Dragon Revive Modernizes a Classic with Co-op, Combos, and More

Double Dragon Revive is a new take on the legendary arcade beat ’em up, arriving October 23, 2025. This updated version includes both offline and online co-op, a new story set in a nuclear wasteland, and plenty of ways to pummel enemies with weapons, stage hazards, and critical counters.

The game features four playable characters and lets you pull off flashy combos, wall slams, hyper attacks, and even aerial specials. You can also grab knives, bats, or other items to turn the tide of battle. Pre-orders are open now for physical and digital versions, and include access to Double Dragon Dodgeball as a bonus.

Absolum Blends Roguelike Progression with Beat ‘Em Up Action

The showcase introduced Absolum, a new Rogue ’em up (roguelike beat ’em up) from French studio Dotemu, known for Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. The game is co-developed with Guard Crush and animated by Supamonks, featuring a mix of arcade combat and roguelike progression in a fantasy world called Talam.

Absolum supports solo or co-op play and features a soundtrack by Gareth Cocker. Arc System Works is partnering with Dotemu to release the game in Asia later this year.

Demon’s Night Fever and Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons Bring Opposite Flavours

Demon’s Night Fever is a new project from Super Niche, built around the idea of embracing wickedness. The game combines elements of RPGs, simulations, speedrunning, and more into what Sohei Niikawa called a “raising speedrunning simulation RPG.” No gameplay footage was shown, but development is in its final stages.

Next was Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons, the latest in Taito’s long-running series. This new entry turns the classic bubble action into a roguelite dungeon crawler filled with sweet-themed stages. You’ll blow bubbles to trap enemies, ride them to reach new areas, and collect materials to upgrade Bub’s skills. Dungeon layouts and enemy placements change with each run, and Arc System Works will publish the game outside of Japan this winter.

HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT Brings 3v3 Fighting to PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam

HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT is the first full fighting game based on the Hunter x Hunter anime. It features three-on-three team battles built around Nen abilities, with a rush combo system, Aura Arts, and GI card wagering.

The game includes 16 playable characters and a variety of single-player modes, including a story mode that recreates scenes from the anime. Online battles use rollback netcode, with ranked matches that put your points on the line. Nen Impact launches July 17, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

DAMON and BABY Kicks Off New Mid-Range Action Game Initiative

Arc System Works closed out the showcase with a new project from chief creative officer Daisuke Ishiwatari. Titled Damon and Baby, the game is part of a larger initiative to build a new brand of mid-range action games outside of the studio’s usual fighting game focus.

Ishiwatari explained that while Guilty Gear started as a small project and grew over time, Damon and Baby is the first step in a push to support more original IPs and give young creators room to grow. Development footage was shown during the showcase, with more details expected in the future.
