The collab is part of a bigger update that also includes new recipes, accessories, and a full Fantasy Academy Costume Set. You can grab the Tekken items for free, while the rest is paid DLC or included in the game’s Season Pass.
Atelier Yumia launched earlier this year and quickly became one of Gust’s most ambitious JRPGs. It follows Yumia Liessfeldt as she explores the ruins of the Aladissian Empire and uncovers its forgotten alchemical history. What’s in the Free Tekken DLC?
Atelier Yumia just pulled off a crossover with Tekken, and yes, it’s as unexpected as it sounds. The free DLC includes a new quest, a costume based on Reina, an accessory, and two flashy finishing moves that let Yumia take down enemies Tekken-style.
You don’t need to buy anything or mess with a Season Pass. Just update the game, download the pack, and the Tekken content shows up in your game. It’s a small add-on, but it gives combat a little extra flair, and who doesn’t want to see an alchemist throw down with some fighting game flair?
If you’re into Tekken or just want something new to mess around with, it’s a solid freebie.
New Recipes and Costumes in the Latest Update
Alongside the Tekken collab, the latest update also adds some paid content. There’s a new “Fantasy Academy Costume Set” that gives every character a school-themed look. It’s available as a separate purchase, or you’ll already have it if you picked up the Season Pass.
The update also includes the “Art of Aladiss” expansion pack. This one adds new recipes and blueprints to use in alchemy, giving you more tools to work with as you explore and craft. Like the costume set, it’s part of the Season Pass or can be bought on its own.
The paid content doesn’t affect the story, but it gives you some extra customization and crafting options if you’re looking to change things up.
The free Tekken content and new DLC are live now, so it’s a good time to jump back in. Tried the Tekken DLC yet? Let us know what you think, or which other crossover you’d want to see next.
