Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 Includes New Endings and a Mod Manager

Larian Studios has announced the release of Patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 on Windows PC, which includes cloud gaming users. The latest update introduces new features, including cinematic “Evil Endings,” revamped split-screen gameplay, and an official modding toolkit.

What’s included in Patch 7 of Baldur’s Gate 3

  • New ‘Evil Endings’: New cinematic conclusions for villainous playthroughs, including unique endings for players using Origin Characters.
  • Revamped Split-Screen Gameplay: The new dynamic split-screen feature allows screens to merge when players are close together and split when they explore separately.
  • Mod Manager: Players can now browse, install, and use mods created by the community directly in the game.

The Modding Toolkit, launched after a successful beta phase, allows players to access a range of mods or create their own. Other updates include improvements to “Honour Mode”, new Legendary Actions, and bug fixes, particularly for Origin Characters and Dark Urge playthroughs.

To mark the first anniversary of the official release of Baldur’s Gate 3, the game is currently on sale on Steam with a 20% discount until September 9.
