Baldur's Gate 3 Final Update

Larian Studios has officially launched Patch 8, the final major content update for Baldur’s Gate 3, bringing a treasure trove of new features to players across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac. The studio is going out with a bang, delivering long-awaited additions like cross-play, a robust photo mode, 12 new subclasses, and expanded tools for modding enthusiasts.

Cross-Play Now Live

One of the most requested features since launch, cross-play now lets players team up across all platforms. Whether you’re on console or PC, you can now venture through the Forgotten Realms with friends no matter where they play. Larian has also released a quick guide to help players get started.

A Snapshot of Adventure

Also included in Patch 8 is a fully-featured Photo Mode, allowing players to capture stunning in-game moments across cutscenes, combat, and exploration. Packed with filters, post-processing effects, and even stickers, it’s a creative toolbox for chronicling your journey. Check out the walkthrough here.

Future expansions, tweaks, and total conversions are now within reach for dedicated modders.

Larian Looks Ahead

While this marks the end of major updates for Baldur’s Gate 3, the story isn’t over. Starting this week, the studio will launch a new behind-the-scenes series titled Larian: Channel From Hell, offering fans an inside look at development and teasing what’s next.
