Borderlands 4 Launches September 12 at $69.99 USD, Pre-Orders Are Now Live

A gold armored figure punches forward next to the text "Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition," highlighting the excitement of Borderlands 4 pre-order.

Borderlands 4 is officially up for pre-order, and the release date is locked in for September 12, 2025. That’s two weeks earlier than expected. Here’s how the new date was announced. The big surprise today? The Standard Edition will launch at $69.99 USD—not the $80 price tag many expected. That’s a welcome change.

The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and later this year to Nintendo Switch 2.

Borderlands 4 Editions and Pricing

Borderlands 4 comes in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe. All are available to pre-order now, and each one includes different bonuses.

  • The Standard Edition is $69.99 USD and includes the full game. Pre-ordering it gets you the Gilded Glory Pack, which adds a Vault Hunter skin, a weapon skin, and an ECHO-4 Drone skin.
  • The Deluxe Edition is $99.99 USD and adds the Bounty Pack Bundle. That means four DLC packs with new bosses, missions, areas, vehicles, and cosmetics, plus extra Vault Cards and gear.
  • Then there’s the Super Deluxe Edition for $129.99 USD. It includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus two new story packs, two extra map regions, and even more cosmetics in the Vault Hunter Pack and Ornate Order Pack.

No matter which edition you pick, there’s more Borderlands content coming after launch too.

The Bounty Pack Bundle includes four DLC packs with new missions, areas, enemies, and bosses. You’ll also get extra vehicles, Vault Cards, weapons, and cosmetics to customize your build.

If you go with the Super Deluxe Edition, you’ll also get two full story packs. Each one introduces a brand-new Vault Hunter, complete with their own story, side missions, and gear. There are also two extra map regions and even more cosmetic packs.

If you don’t grab the higher-tier editions, all of this content will also be available to buy separately after launch.
