October is here, and the latest Fortnite update v31.40 brings spooky surprises to LEGO Fortnite just in time for Halloween! Whether you’re ready to face your fears or prefer teaming up with a friend, the latest update delivers plenty of chills and thrills. Here’s everything you need to know about the Brick or Treat event.
Spooktacular Split-Screen Action
LEGO Fortnite now supports split-screen mode on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, making it easier to bring a friend along for the ride. Here’s a quick guide on how to access split-screen in LEGO Fortnite:
- Start Fortnite and head to the LEGO Fortnite Lobby.
- Connect the second controller.
- Select the second player’s console account (guest and quick play accounts aren’t supported).
- After picking a console account, Fortnite will automatically ask the player to link their Epic account. (If they link their Epic account, they can access their Locker Outfits, Passes, Quests, and other progress.)
- Once the second player appears in the Lobby, split-screen mode will automatically start when you begin a LEGO Fortnite match.
Now, you’re ready to take on all the frights together!
