EVO 2025 delivered a packed weekend of intense competition and major reveals from Capcom, including the debut teaser for C. Viper in Street Fighter 6 and the first gameplay showcase of the upcoming Outfit 4 costumes.
Unveiled just before the Street Fighter 6 Top 8, the teaser trailer confirmed that C. Viper is the second fighter in the Year 3 lineup. In the video, she analyzes a hologram of M. Bison in preparation for her next mission. C. Viper will join the roster later in Year 3, following the arrival of Sagat, who launches on August 5.
Sagat, the iconic Emperor of Muay Thai, becomes available this week on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. He comes with a new stage called Proud Spire and two outfits: a brand-new look and a classic costume inspired by his Street Fighter II appearance.
Also dropping on August 5 are the new swimsuit-themed Outfit 4 costumes for seven characters: Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I. These were showcased in a new gameplay trailer that debuted during Evo and will be available simultaneously with Sagat’s release.
Players can access all this content through the Year 3 Character Pass or the Year 3 Ultimate Pass, both of which are now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with pre-orders open for Switch 2 users. The passes include Sagat, C. Viper, pro wrestler Alex (Early Spring 2026), and Ingrid (Late Spring 2026), alongside additional outfit colors and Drive Tickets.
Beyond Street Fighter 6, Capcom also announced new content for Capcom Fighting Collection 2. A free update launching August 7 will bring:
- Four new characters to Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER, including Ingrid, along with new artwork and a “Mode Select” EX setting.
- New training mode enhancements for Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein, enabling plasma combo displays.
- Expanded artwork galleries for the collection.
- Bonus music tracks for Capcom vs. SNK 2 and Power Stone.
- Digital release of over 100 original soundtracks across both Capcom Fighting Collection titles.
