An Unexpected Addition
A year ago, when the Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King (ABK) acquisition was finalized, a stipulation, by the CMA, required the sale of cloud gaming rights for Activision games to Ubisoft. This left many wondering about the implications for Xbox Cloud Gaming and ABK games. There were theories that players might need a Ubisoft+ subscription or that these games wouldn’t be playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming in the UK. As it turns out, these speculations were unnecessary. I, for one, am very excited about this. It means I can play it without deleting every other game on my little Series S! Let’s hope that other Call of Duty titles, and other ABK titles come to the cloud soon as well.
