Sea of Thieves has introduced Season 13, bringing new challenges and content for its players. Captain Flameheart, now based at The Reaper’s Hideout, has returned with his flagship, the Burning Blade, and started a hunt for knowledge in Ancient Temples.
Season 13, which started on July 25, includes 100 new levels in the Renown track, offering various rewards for players. The update is free and available to all players who have downloaded the latest version of the game. You can play via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or GeForce NOW or Boosteroid with Game Pass for PC.
The Burning Blade World Event and new Skeleton Camps are the major additions in this season. Players can battle the Burning Blade and choose to either sink it for loot or claim it as their own ship, gaining a skeleton crew and unique weaponry. The ship can also be used to complete missions at Skeleton Camps, harvesting ancient knowledge and increasing rewards.
Additionally, new cosmetics and rewards are available, including the Burning Blade Reborn ship livery, the Eclipse ship set, clothing, and toucan pets from the Pirate Emporium. For a detailed list of changes and updates, pirates can refer to the latest release notes.
