In a surprise announcement, Capcom has unveiled that a brand new remaster of the original Dead Rising title is on the way.
The announcement of the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster came in the form of a teaser trailer and also with the confirmation that the remaster would be coming to “the newest generation of platforms” which is a safe bet to say it will land on both PS5 and the Xbox Series consoles.
After a 5 year hiatus, the official Dead Rising Twitter/X account also came back to life stating:
‘Hello? Is this thing on? This is Frank! Frank West! Is anyone out there? Grab your camera and prepare for the big scoop on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Stay tuned for more info soon!’
The original Dead Rising launched back in 2006 originally on Xbox 360, the game has already received an HD Remaster since its original release which brought it to more platforms. The series has also had a plethora of sequels over the years.
