Capcom’s latest digital event is in the books. The June 2025 Capcom Spotlight featured new reveals, trailers, and updates. The 40-minute stream focused on Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Street Fighter 6 Year 3, and Monster Hunter Wilds. Each segment included gameplay footage or commentary from developers.
There were also smaller updates for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which just launched on Nintendo Switch 2. Whether you’re into horror, sci-fi, fighting games, or action RPGs, Capcom brought something for you.
Let’s break down everything shown in the Capcom Spotlight June 2025 presentation.
Pragmata Mixes Hacking, Puzzle Combat, and Lunar Survival
The Capcom Spotlight opened with a deep dive into Pragmata, a sci-fi action game set on the moon. The new gameplay footage focused on puzzle-infused combat, combining hacking and shooting in real time.
You play as Hugh Williams, a lunar investigator searching a research station after a communications blackout. He’s joined by Diana, a mysterious android built with Lunafilament, a material that can replicate objects.
In battle, Diana hacks enemy armor to expose weak points. You move a cursor across a screen to trigger these openings. Hugh then follows up with traditional weapons. Outside combat, Diana hacks systems and clears blocked paths. Hugh uses thrusters to cross tricky terrain. The pair must work together to escape the facility.
Pragmata launches in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A playable demo will be available at gamescom 2025 for public hands-on.
Street Fighter 6 Adds Sagat, Swimwear, and Summer Events
Sagat joins the Street Fighter 6 roster on August 5. Capcom shared a new trailer highlighting his return during the Spotlight. The veteran fighter appears in the mountains of Thailand. He also joins World Tour as a new Master. A Sagat-themed Fighting Pass launches July 4 and includes new EX colours for Ryu and Ken.
Also on August 5, seven fighters will get swimwear as part of Outfit 4. These include Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I. The rest of the cast will get theirs later. Capcom also shared updates on upcoming events like Sajam Slam 5 and Capcom Cup 12, which takes place in March 2026 in Tokyo.

Resident Evil Requiem Brings New Hero and Dual Perspectives
Resident Evil Requiem arrives February 27, 2026. During the Spotlight, Capcom gave a deeper look at its story and design.
The game stars Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst who’s new to the series. She’s cautious and easily frightened but trained with firearms. The developers said Grace reflects the player’s fear. Her reactions change as she learns to stay calm under pressure.
You can switch between first- and third-person views at any time. First-person focuses on horror. Third-person allows for more action. Capcom also confirmed small visual details, like Grace’s facial reactions and hair movement. These were created using real-world references.
Resident Evil Requiem takes place 30 years after the Raccoon City missile strike. It’s designed as a tribute to those affected by the outbreak.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 Launches June 30
Monster Hunter Wilds closed out the Spotlight with a detailed look at Title Update 2. It launches June 30, 2025.
The update adds Lagiacrus, who now features special underwater actions. Seregios also returns with updated move sets and faster aerial attacks.
After completing key missions, hunters HR41 and above can fight 8-star Tempered versions of Lagiacrus and Seregios. On July 30, Arch-tempered Uth Duna will arrive in a limited-time Event and Free Challenge Quest. Completing it unlocks new armor sets, including Uth Duna γ and Felyne Uth Duna γ.
Update 2 also includes layered weapon unlocks, Rarity 8 Artian gear, and Palico gear customization. You can now hide companions in Photo Mode and adjust filters, lighting, and brightness. New support options include Erik as a replacement handler and Mina from the Vespae Unit. Hunters can now choose which Support Hunters to bring on missions.
The Festival of Accord: Flamefete begins July 23 with new gear, meals, and hub decorations. Four free dance gestures are included, with more paid DLC and Cosmetic Pack 2 also launching soon. A Fender collaboration adds the Rathalos Telecaster gesture on August 27.

Kunitsu-Gami Update Adds New Mode and Anniversary Bonus
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. This version supports handheld, tabletop, and TV modes, along with mouse input and new play styles.
Capcom also released a new free mode across all platforms. Called “Otherworldly Venture,” it introduces randomized upgrades and endless waves of Seethe enemies. You fight to survive while aiming for high scores in ever-changing conditions.
Next month, Capcom will mark the game’s one-year anniversary with a free bonus item. The “Yashichi Waves” Mazo Talisman brings retro flair to the soundtrack by remixing parts of the game’s music into an 8-bit style. The update is meant as a thank-you to players for supporting the game since launch. Path of the Goddess is available now for Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
