NIS America has announced Disgaea 7 Complete, a definitive version of Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless, launching exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 this Fall. A new trailer is available now, offering a first look at the updated version and what makes it different from past releases.

This version brings all previously released content together in one package, with new additions made just for Nintendo Switch 2 users. Whether you missed the original or want to dive back in, this version includes more content and features than ever before.

New Features, Bonus Content, and Special Editions

Disgaea 7 Complete brings together the full base game, all DLC, and a new bonus episode exclusive to this version. The extra episode revisits Netherworlds from past Disgaea games and gives you the chance to unlock Asagi as a playable character.

Several new gameplay features are also included. These range from uncapped stats and free access to Infernal Weapons to the ultimate challenge: Rakshasa Baal.

NIS America is offering two editions. The Deluxe Edition includes a copy of the game for Nintendo Switch 2, a mini poster, and a sticker sheet for $69.99 USD. The Ewwdo Edition adds a collector’s box, a Lucky Slumber Cat figurine, and a Netherworld Support Force folding fan. It’s priced at $99.99 USD and is available only through the NIS Online Store.

A Wild Tale of Culture, Cuisine, and Chaos

The story follows Pirilika, a wealthy demon who’s obsessed with bushido and local Hinomoto culture. She travels to the Hinomoto Netherworlds hoping to enjoy the traditions and food she’s read about.

Instead, she finds disaster. Her favourite dishes, including “sowba” and “you-don” noodles, have been replaced with pasta. The culprit? A villain named Demmodore Opener. With her culture at risk of vanishing, Pirilika enlists a wandering warrior named Fuji to help restore order and taste.

The journey spans the Netherworlds and leans into the series’ signature over-the-top style, mixing comedy with tactical battles.

Anime-style characters converse in a fantasy wasteland; the central figure excitedly points and shouts about bread, evoking the quirky humor found in Disgaea 7 Complete for Nintendo Switch 2.

Disgaea 7 Complete launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 this fall

Disgaea 7 Complete packs in everything from the original release along with some new surprises just for Nintendo Switch 2. Between the bonus episode, uncapped stats, and tougher battles, there’s a lot here for returning fans and newcomers alike.

The different editions give you some options if you’re into extras, and it’s nice to see the series getting a bit of spotlight again. With the trailer out now and preorders already live, it won’t be long before you’re back in Hinomoto.
