New Game+ Highlights
The New Game+ mode allows players to start a fresh playthrough while retaining their inventory, stats, and perks from previous sessions. Players can choose to maintain or reset relationships with in-game characters, adding flexibility to how they approach the game’s story and mechanics.
Enhanced Combat and Customization
The update introduces new combat features, including four attack conduits:
- Downpour: Unleashes giant water projectiles.
- Piercing Glance: Shoots lasers in all directions from the void around the protagonist, Luisa.
- Rage: Boosts speed and damage while reducing incoming damage.
- Wind Dash: Damages enemies in Luisa’s path as she dashes forward.
Enemies also pose a greater challenge with updated behaviors, including melee shields, increased attack ranges, and more magic shields. To assist with these tougher foes, the game has added new gear and perks exclusive to New Game+.
Players can also enjoy new customization options, including outfits available through Olivia’s Outfits or earned by completing specific in-game tasks. In addition, a new “Armor Visuals” feature allows players to see the armor they equip while using Luisa’s base outfit, adding more visual variety to the character.
New Achievements and More
Nine new achievements provide additional goals for seasoned players, offering fresh challenges and opportunities to test their skills.
The update also includes performance optimizations, along with bug fixes that address issues like save game performance, text overflow in shop screens, and more. For a full breakdown of the changes and new features, players can visit the official update post.
