My Optimism

The appointment of Alain Tascan as President of Games at Netflix has made me cautiously optimistic. As Netflix Gamers, we want to see Netflix’s gaming offerings become more varied and for Netflix to build out not only pre established franchises but also brand-new IPs. Two things we need Alain Tascan to do is expand Netflix Games’ output of titles and expand their cloud gaming platform with a diverse range of experiences. Currently, when it comes to games there is already a trilogy of games based on Too Hot To Handle and Stranger Things, but it would be nice to see more games based on other Netflix IPs. This also hopefully opens up the door to Netflix having Lego games based on their TV shows.
