Everdark Sovereigns Arrive in Elden Ring Nightreign With New Limited-Time Boss Battles

Three armored warriors battle a large, glowing purple dragon amid swirling lightning in a dark, mystical scene reminiscent of the Everdark Sovereigns from Elden Ring.

The fight’s about to get tougher in Elden Ring Nightreign. As of today, new versions of familiar Nightlords called Everdark Sovereigns are appearing in Limveld. These are limited-time battles against stronger, more dangerous foes. The first one is an enhanced version of Adel, Baron of the Night, and it’s live now if you’ve already taken down the original.

Everdark Sovereigns Schedule and How They Work

A new Everdark Sovereign will appear each week. To challenge one, you need to have already defeated its original Nightlord version. These upgraded bosses come with new moves and hit much harder than before. You’ll need to be online to take part, but you can still play solo while connected.

The first Everdark Sovereign, based on Gaping Jaw (Adel, Baron of the Night), is available now. You can fight Adel’s enhanced form from June 18 at 6 PM PDT until June 25 at 5:59 PM PDT. Once the event ends, the boss disappears from Expeditions, the game’s mission-based content.

More Elden Ring Nightreign bosses are coming soon. For now, expect to see Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight next. Others like Tricephalos, Augur, Equilibrious Beast, and Fissure in the Fog will arrive later.

Rewards and What You Get for Winning

Beating an Everdark Sovereign earns you Sovereign Sigils. These are special tokens you can trade for Relics and other useful items. If it’s your first time taking one down, you’ll get extra Sigils as a bonus.

These limited-time battles in Elden Ring Nightreign won’t be available for long. Once each Sovereign disappears, it’s gone until Bandai Namco brings it back. That means if you want those rewards, you’ll need to jump in before the window closes.

Time Is Short, the Night Is Long

This is just the start of the Elden Ring Nightreign Everdark Sovereigns cycle. More of them will appear in the weeks ahead, each bringing new attacks and higher stakes. Once they vanish, you won’t be able to fight them again until they return.

If you’re heading into these fights, now’s the time to learn their new patterns and share tips with others. Every week is a fresh chance to earn rewards and prove you’re ready for what’s next.
