Everything Announced at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase

The Future Games Show returned on June 7 with a Summer Showcase. The event delivered a packed lineup of games through world premieres, gameplay reveals, and developer spotlights. Here’s a list of the major announcements:

World Premieres and New Trailers

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn kicked off the show with a first look at this action RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. It’s coming soon to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Echoes of the End, a narrative-driven fantasy brawler from Myrkur Games and Deep Silver, debuted with a trailer. Launching later this year.

Whispers in the Fog offered a teaser for the upcoming first-person psychological horror game developed by a solo creator. Coming soon to PC.

Call of the Elder Gods revealed a mystery adventure from the creators of Call of the Sea. Featuring Yuri Lowenthal, the game is headed to PC and consoles.

Fading Echo introduced a voice cast including Samantha Béart, Jasmine Bhullar, Matt Mercer and Laura Bailey. This puzzle platformer is coming soon.

The Bureau of Fantastical & Arcane Affairs showcased a twist on the fantasy genre, letting players act as bureaucrats inspecting quests. Launching on PC this year.

Games industry legend Shuhei Yoshida introduced a trailer for Reach, a VR parkour shooter. It’s coming to PSVR 2, Steam VR and Meta Quest 3 in 2025.

House Flipper 2 is getting a dedicated Scooby-Doo DLC. Dive into a mystery with the gang when it lands on PC and consoles this October.

The show closed with a sneak peek at Ritual Tides, a Lovecraftian odyssey set on a fictional British island. It’s launching on PC and consoles..

New Gameplay Reveals and Updates

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin showed fresh gameplay for this open-world action RPG based on the anime.

THE FINALS dropped a Season 7 trailer. The new season launches June 12 on all platforms.

Herdling introduced a pastoral adventure set for Summer 2025. A demo is already available on Steam.

SLEEP AWAKE, from Cory Davis (Spec Ops: The Line) and Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails), highlighted its fusion of FMV and 3D gameplay. Coming in 2026.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, an isometric stealth game set in the 1900s, launches July 15.

Constance, a painterly Metroidvania, arrives November 24 on PC, with a demo available now.

Titan Quest II received a deep dive focusing on gameplay and mythology. It enters Early Access in Summer 2025.

ASCENDANT revealed a vibrant squad-based PVPVE FPS set in a BioPunk world. Coming soon to PC.

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is available in Early Access on Steam, with console versions on the way.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite brings co-op fire rescue action to PC and consoles in Fall 2025.

Hirogami, inspired by paper-folding arts, launches on PC and PS5 on September 3.

Formula Legends promises a retro motorsport experience, with a playable demo now live.

SCUM leaves Early Access on June 17. Players can enter a key giveaway on GamesRadar.

Deathground previewed dinosaur-packed survival horror. Coming to Steam Early Access in Q3 2025.

Hell is Us got a spotlight segment. The action title with an emotion-driven enemy system launches September 4.

SacriFire, a pixel JRPG with music by Motoi Sakuraba, is set for Q1 2026.

Ratatan is a spiritual successor to the cult PSP hit Patapon, and it’s entering Steam Early Access on July 25. Players can also try out a free demo, which is out now on Steam.

Microids’s twist on the Agatha Christie novel, Death on the Nile. This dual detective adventure game is coming to PC and consoles in September.

Hangar 13 delivered exclusive insights about what players can expect from Mafia: The Old Country. It launches on August 8 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Roar Games shared a developer presentation for Tenet of the Spark, the studio’s time-bending brawler. It’s coming soon to PC and consoles.

A new trailer for Crisol: Theater of Idols gave viewers a glimpse into the world of this adrenaline-pumping horror shooter. Coming to PC, PlayStation and Xbox later this year.

Montages and Other

The Ones to Play Montage included Cat-Astrophy, PHASE ZERO, Bloodgrounds, and How 2 Escape: Lost Submarine, all with demos available now.

The Spotlight Montage featured new updates for Flick Shot Rogues, Under Par Golf Architect, Ascend to ZERO, Animalkind, Don’t Wake The Beast, and Worship.

Ahoy, a gritty 18th-century naval combat sim, revealed its Kickstarter campaign.

Joe & Mac Retro Collection, bundling the original trilogy with modern features, heads to Kickstarter on June 10.
