During the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XVI is now available digitally for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Xbox, complete with support for Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming. In addition, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is officially coming to Xbox this winter.
This marks a major milestone for Xbox players, as all major single-player Final Fantasy titles, along with the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV Online, will soon be fully accessible on the platform, including through the cloud.
Final Fantasy XVI Available Now with Xbox Cloud Support
The critically acclaimed Final Fantasy XVI lands on Xbox with the Complete Edition, which includes both post-launch DLCs: Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. Players can pick up the full bundle at a discount or buy the base game, DLCs, and Expansion Pass separately.
Thanks to Xbox Play Anywhere, progress syncs across console, PC, and the cloud, making it easier than ever to pick up where you left off, whether you’re gaming from your Xbox, a laptop, or a mobile device via the Xbox Cloud Gaming service.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Coming to Xbox Cloud This Winter
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the enhanced version of the 2020 remake, will debut on Xbox this winter, with full Xbox Cloud support. This edition includes an extra story arc featuring Yuffie and reimagines the first chapter of the 1997 classic, focusing on Cloud Strife’s journey through Midgar.
With more than 7 million copies sold across PlayStation and PC, the arrival of this title on Xbox, especially with cloud access, makes it more accessible than ever to a new generation of players.
