Final Fantasy XVI PC Version Launching on September 17, Demo Available on GeForce NOW

Square Enix has announced that the PC version of Final Fantasy XVI will be released on September 17. It will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store for $49.99. A “Complete Edition,” which includes the base game along with the DLCs “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide,” will also be offered for $69.99.

A demo featuring the game’s opening section is currently available. With the added benefit of being playable on GeForce NOW, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service. This availability suggests that a full release of Final Fantasy XVI on GeForce NOW could be on the horizon. Specially after we’ve confirmed that the game has opted-in for the service.

Final Fantasy XVI originally launched for PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. The game is a dark fantasy action RPG centered on Clive Rosfield, a warrior seeking revenge against a mysterious entity known as the Dark Eikon Ifrit. The game features intense battles between powerful beings called Eikons, with gameplay modes tailored to both story-focused and action-focused players.
