Treyarch has unveiled the first gameplay footage for the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, featuring the new map called “Terminus”. This reveal marks the return to round-based Zombies, a mode that has been a significant aspect of Treyarch’s Call of Duty entries.
The gameplay showcase highlights various elements of the upcoming Zombies mode, including new characters, movement mechanics, and the reintroduction of familiar features such as perk soda machines and abilities.
In addition to the new gameplay mechanics, Treyarch is implementing several quality-of-life improvements aimed at making the mode more accessible, especially for newcomers. These changes are intended to streamline the process of completing the main quests, addressing a long-standing challenge for many players.
Moreover, Treyarch has teased that Terminus will not be the only Zombies map available at launch. A second map, “Liberty Falls,” is also in the works and is expected to be revealed later this month. Feel free to read the entire official blog post here.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, including the Zombies mode, will be available on day one through Xbox Game Pass, launching this October. While the games hasn’t yet been confirmed for Xbox Cloud Gaming, other games from Activision have started to appear on the service. Just today, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has made its debut.
