Playground Games has released a major new update for Forza Horizon 5 titled Horizon Realms, now live across Xbox consoles, PC, and, for the first time, PlayStation 5.
This update brings back 11 Evolving World locations that were previously time-limited and introduces a new Stadium Track. Alongside this content drop is the Nissan Retro Rides Car Pack, now available on all supported platforms.
For PS5 players, Forza Horizon 5 is launching in two waves: those with the Premium Edition can access the game starting today, while Standard and Deluxe Edition owners will gain access on April 29. In the U.S., the Premium Edition unlocks at 12:01am EST (9:00pm PST), with the same local timing applying globally.

What’s New in Forza 5’s Horizon Realms
Players can now jump into the Horizon Realms feature through the Campaign tab or by traveling to the new in-world location left of the Stadium. These Realms offer both Free Mode and Skill Mode gameplay, with specific challenges and themed tracks, including returning favorites like the Ice Rink, Stunt Park, and Winter Wonderland.
The update includes 17 new achievements for Xbox and Steam, and 111 Trophies for PS5 players—17 of which are tied directly to the Horizon Realms content. Each Realm also has new Accolades to complete, unlocking cars, #Forzathon Points, and more.
Featured Achievements and Challenges
Notable goals include:
- Enter the Realm: Unlocks after visiting any Realm
- Master of Realms: Complete Skill Mode in all Realms
- Time-Wyrm: Maintain 88mph+ for 1 minute in the Lunar Drift Arena
- Party Like It’s 1987: Complete Summer Party challenges with the 1987 Pontiac Firebird
Each Realm features unique themed objectives such as drifting, speed challenges, and location-based photo opportunities.
New Cars and Accolades
Players can unlock four new cars by completing Realm-specific Accolades, including the powerful 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto, Lamborghini’s hybrid V12 with 1001 bhp. Other unlockables include the 2023 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, 2022 Hennessey Mammoth, and 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430.

Cross-Platform Expansion
The update further expands Forza Horizon 5’s cross-platform reach, as PlayStation players join the Horizon Festival for the first time. Whether you’re playing, Horizon Realms offers new ways to explore, compete, and collect.
