Forza Motorsport, developed by Turn 10 Studios, marks its one-year anniversary since launching on October 10, 2023. Over the past year, the game has seen numerous updates aimed at improving stability, performance, and player experience. The developers have introduced several features inspired by player feedback, including updates to Spectate Mode, Multi-Class Racing, and the addition of the Car Proximity Radar and Challenge Hub.
Turn 10 Studios has also fine-tuned existing systems such as Forza Race Regulations, Drivatar AI, and Driver and Safety Ratings, all of which have been adjusted based on player feedback. Additionally, car progression has been overhauled to provide more flexibility, allowing players to exchange credits for Car Points at any time.
Forza Motorsport Update 13: Mustang Month
In honor of the anniversary, Forza Motorsport will release three new Mustang cars on October 16, 2024, as part of its Update 13, themed “Mustang Month.” The 2024 Ford #25 Mustang RTR, 2024 Ford #88 Mustang RTR, and 2024 Ford #130 Mustang RTR will be available for all players, while Car Pass holders will receive an additional 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse.
The update will also introduce a Drift Mode, enhanced multiplayer features, and the return of the Sunset Peninsula track, last seen in Forza Motorsport 4. Full details of the update will be shared on October 14, 2024.
