As we enter February, Xbox has listed 6 games that will be leaving Game Pass on the 15th, of which all are available via Xbox Cloud. This follows a promising start to the month with 7 games announced.
Recompile
This atmospheric, Metroidvania hacking adventure lets you take control of a semi-sapient program struggling against deletion. In the sprawling 3D world of a Mainframe, Recompile features intense combat, tight 3D platforming, super-powered abilities and an environmental logic-based hacking mechanic.
Skul: The Hero Slayer
Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action-platformer that boasts rogue-like features such as ever-changing and challenging maps. It will keep you on your toes, as you will never know what to expect.
The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom
Join Jack and his friends in an epic, post-apocalyptic quest to save our world from the Queen of the Slime Monsters!
Besiege
Besiege is a physics based building game in which you construct medieval siege engines. Battle your way through a 54 level single-player campaign, unleash chaos with your friends in multiplayer, create your own worlds with the level editor, customize your game with mods through the workshop.
Infernax
Infernax is the adventures of a great knight who returns to his homeland only to find it plagued with unholy magic. Uncover the mysteries of the curse and face the consequences of your actions.
CrossFireX Operation Catalyst
The free to play title, that released exclusively on Xbox and made its way to Game Pass, is shutting down in May 18th 2023. Since the announcement in February 3rd, the game removed all its content from the Store. Also, those who purchased microtransactions in the last days, will be eligible for a refund. You can find the official post regarding the shut-down here, and the official FAQ here.
This is your chance to play them before these games leave Game Pass on the 15th of February. If you have a console or play on PC, you may also save up to 20% on your purchase to keep them in your library, so this doesn’t have to be the last you see of them. And, again, we are expecting the ability to play (at least some) purchased games via the cloud to roll out from the Xbox team this year.
And those are all the games leaving Game Pass this month so far. We’ll share more news regarding all the new games making its way to Game Pass Ultimate soon! As always, remember to follow Cloud Dosage on Twitter and Mastodon for the latest news.
