Like Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus‘s top tiers gives subscribers access to a large rotating selection of games. And, most of those games are eligible to be played from the cloud if you have a Premium subscription. We just recently added all 847 games which can be streamed to our cloud games catalog. The major limitation on PlayStation cloud is that you can currently only stream games to an actual PS console (PS4 or PS5) or to Windows computers. Even the upcoming PlayStation Q appears to be left out of the cloud gaming action.
Games Leaving PS Plus in August
We haven’t yet gotten word about what new games are coming in August but Sony has posted ten games that will be leaving the service mid-August – including some pretty notable titles.
- Borderlands 3
- Nidhogg
- DCL – The Game
- Yakuza 0
- Yakuza Kiwami
- Yakuza Kiwami 2
- GRIP
- The Crew 2
- 8-Bit Armies
- Carmageddon: Max Damage
There are some great games in the list. But, thankfully many of them can be played other places in the cloud. The two Yakuza Kiwami titles, for example, are both playable on Amazon Luna and Xbox Game Pass.
