Ape Academy 2 is a sequel to Ape Academy and features a variety of mini-games that can be played by one or two players. The game is designed for all ages and has a cartoonish art style that is similar to the first game.
Gameplay is centered around a school for monkeys, where players must complete various challenges to earn grades and advance to the next level. The game features a total of 45 mini-games, which are divided into three categories: physical challenges, mental challenges, and games of skill. Each mini-game has its own set of rules and objectives, and players must use their wits and reflexes to succeed.
