Chainsaws At The Ready – The Gears of War: Reloaded Beta Is a Go
Last month, Cloud Dosage reported that Gears of War: Reloaded could be receiving a multiplayer beta test. This news has now been confirmed by Xbox.
The beta will begin this weekend, and you can get access to the Gears of War: Reloaded beta in various ways:
- Pre-order the game on Xbox, PC or PlayStation 5
- Have an active Game Pass Ultimate Membership – This grants you instant access to the beta
- Own the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
The beta will take place over two weekends. Weekend one will run from June 13th to 15th. During the first weekend, players will be able to sample the classic team deathmatch mode. It will also include three fan favourite maps, Gridlock, Raven Down and Gold Rush.
A second beta weekend will take place from June 20th to 22nd and this will add the king of the hill gamemode to the game. The maps Courtyard and War Machine will also be added.
Gears of War: Reloaded will launch on August 26th on PC and Xbox Series X/S and will also see the series come to PS5. It will be available day one on Game Pass and will alos be playable on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
