Another week has passed, and we have again run our script to look for new games opting into GeForce NOW on Steam. This week we found another 20+ titles which have opted in including a number of very notable games.
You can also see a lot more games that have opted into GFN over the last few months by checking out our past weekly findings. Last week, Amnesia: The Bunker headlined the list of newly opted-in games.
New Titles Opted into GeForce NOW
- Trans Neuronica
- Darkest Dungeon
- Darkest Dungeon II
- True Virus
- Against All Odds
- Layers of Fear
- Patch Quest
- Pumped BMX Pro
- Chenso Club
- Autonauts vs Piratebots
- Embr
- I Am Fish
- Golf Gang
- Lawn Mowing Simulator
- The Ascent
- Genesis Noir
- Beacon Pines
- Kraken Academy!!
- Citizen Sleeper
- AEGIS Kingdoms
- Weird West: Definitive Edition (Regular Edition already available)
- Ancient
We already knew that a few of these games (The Ascent, Patch Quest, Lawn Mowing Simulator) were on their way from GeForce NOW’s official May game list.
In addition, about half of these titles are available in the cloud on other services – notably: Xbox Cloud (Darkest Dungeon, Lawn Mowing Simulator, The Ascent, Genesis Noir, Beacon Pines, Weird West), Utomik (Genesis Noir, Kraken Academy), Blacknut (Autonauts vs Piratebots, I Am Fish) and Luna (Citizen Sleeper).
Notable Games
Stadians will surely remember the timed exclusive game Embr, which also had a stint on Amazon Luna before leaving the cloud. It’s an incredibly fun online co-op game where you work as a freelance firefighter in a world where firefighting is run by an independent Uber like app. It’s just as insane as it sounds. Like Uber vs. Lyft, you also have to keep an eye on competing gig-workers from the Canadian based competition – aptly named Hosr. We are excited to see Embr back in the cloud!
Next up: the two Darkest Dungeon Games are bound to get some nods of appreciation. The first game in the series is a well loved turn-based RPG Roguelike title with a beautiful hand-drawn art style. The second title just hit Steam a couple months back and already has thousands of mostly positive reviews.
Other notable titles on the list of games that have opted into GFN on Steam include I AM FISH, Beacon Pines and Citizen Sleeper. There’s a little something for everyone to look forward to in this week’s list.
As always, keep in mind that opting-in to GFN is not a guarantee that the game will actually come. It means the publisher is willing to have the game on GeForce NOW. Once a game is opted in, it’s up to NVIDIA to actually onboard the game. In our experience, NVIDIA does end up bringing most of the well known games that opt-in, however.
Which of these titles would you be excited to see arrive on the service?
