Welcome to this week’s GFN Thursday news update – April 20, 2023 edition. This week is a bit of a light news week, but we’ve got 7 new games joining the GeForce NOW service this week – including one surprise game!
- Survival: Fountain of Youth (New release, April 19)
- Dead Island 2 (New release, April 21)
- F1 2021 (Surprise Release!)
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me
The four Dark Pictures titles all arrive with Ray Tracing support built in.
F1 2021 Arrives on GFN Out of the Blue
The surprise game addition of the week is F1 2021, which was not previously announced as coming to GeForce NOW. It is already available in the cloud via Xbox Cloud Gaming, but it’s nice to see it hit the dominant PC streaming cloud gaming service as well. The game arrives with RTX support on!
The game is an extremely popular true racing simulator. Gamers often play the game with pedal and steering wheel support.
Dead Island 2 Arrives Day and Date
Dead Island 2 is the long awaited sequel to the massively popular Dead Island title. Unfortunately for fans of Steam, the game is only available via the Epic Game Store. This reflects the fact that the PC version of the game is exclusive to Epic.
Deal on Priority Membership
Finally, GeForce NOW is running a promotion this week where you can get a 6 months Priority Tier membership for only $29.99.
This price is approximately 40% off the regular price. The Priority Tier is the middle membership tier for GeForce NOW. You won’t get access to RTX 4080 GPUs or 4K streaming on this tier. But, you will get to skip the queue when you want to game and can stream up to 1080P 60FPS with RTX on.
