Welcome to another edition of GFN Thursday. This week is a little light on news as the post from NVIDIA drops just prior to the kickoff of Summer Game Fest. We are likely to hear a lot about upcoming games that will be coming to GeForce NOW from Ubisoft, Xbox, Devolver Digital and others.
Keep in mind that the GeForce NOW logo isn’t often shown at the end of game trailers even if the games end up coming to the service.
We do have a couple new games and some feature updates to highlight this week, though. So, let’s get to it.
New GFN Games for the Week
- Amnesia: The Bunker (Already Available)
- Harmony: The Fall of Reverie (New release today!)
While there are just two games joining this week. They are both brand new titles that we are excited about.
Amnesia: The Bunker
Amnesia: The Bunker is a newly released game that just recently joined GFN. It is a horror survival game developed by Fictional Games. Players find themselves waking up in a WWI bunker (left with a single bullet) with amnesia and must explore their surroundings to unravel the dark and twisted story behind their imprisonment. The game’s atmosphere is built on suspense and psychological fear, often taking unexpected turns to keep the player on the edge of their seat. In addition to its intriguing plot, the game also boasts excellent graphics and sound design, which make it a great game for horror enthusiasts looking for a thrilling and immersive experience.
Harmony: The Fall of Reverie
Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is a narrative-driven, single-player adventure game developed by DONT NOD – the folks behind the much loved Life is Strange series (See also Life is Strange 2 and the recent Life is Strange: True Colors). The game involves a mix between our world and fantasy world, Reverie, where the player takes on the role of a young woman named Harmony, who is on a quest to bring balance to these worlds. The game features a unique art style and promises to offer a deep and emotional story with impactful choices.
Improvements to Ubisoft Account Syncing
GFN has allowed you to sign in and sync your Epic, Steam and Ubisoft accounts for a while. Starting today, GeForce NOW is using the newer Ubisoft Connect API for this connection which should make the integration more reliable going forward.
This may require you to re-link your Ubisoft account. We expect similar support to arrive for the PC Xbox app in the coming months.
