Highscore Begins Feedback Period for Upcoming Cloud Gaming Service

Our friends over at Highscore (and for full transparency, they are a sponsor of the site) are ready to enter the feedback period for their upcoming Cloud Gaming service.

Highscore is an upcoming Cloud Gaming service based in the United States that is set to operate a BYOG (Bring Your Own Game) cloud service similar to GeForce NOW and Boosteroid. However, unlike those two services, Highscore promises support for the entire Steam catalog of games. In addition, Highscore will feature unique cloud features like virtual couch co-op support, and game suspend and resume to the cloud.

Highscore Feedback Program

During the feedback program, accepted gamers can use Highscore’s upcoming Premium service for free! Not only that, from the application, they appear to be looking for gamers who will use the free service quite a lot during the period!

A few details about the feedback program to note:

  • If selected, the user will get free access to Highscore’s Premium tier during the feedback period.
  • A few quick notes about the application:
    • Users will be asked to upload screenshots of their internet connection, so it’s best to fill it out at home (or wherever they’ll be using Highscore the most).
    • Selection will be based on the quality of their responses – the more people share, the better Highscore will be able to gauge if they’re a good fit for the feedback cohort.
    • Highscore is specifically seeking folks willing to share detailed feedback – if someone is unable to dedicate the time to give Highscore feedback, it is suggested they wait until we launch our Alpha. 🙂
  • Applications will stay open for 1-2 more weeks, and Highscore will start sending invites soon after.
  • If you are not on the waitlist already (highscore.com), we recommend joining as Highscore will be sharing product updates via email, as well as in their Discord: discord.gg/highscore

We went ahead and filled out the application ourselves as the servers are located near our location in the Bay Area of California. As the above description warns, the application is a bit involved and takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

Highscore is easily the up and coming cloud gaming service we are most excited about. So, we are excited to give it a go.
