Amplitude Studios has rolled out the Enheduanna update for Humankind, the turn-based historical strategy game with over 3 million players worldwide. This free update introduces a variety of new features, balance changes, and quality-of-life improvements based on community feedback.

The Enheduanna update focuses on improving the gameplay experience by offering players more control, customization options, and refined mechanics.

Key Features of the Enheduanna Update

  • Custom AI Opponents: Players can now create custom AI personas on the Persona Collection screen for a personalized challenge.
  • Ambush Mechanics Overhaul: Armies now stop upon encountering invisible allied forces without triggering an ambush. Additionally, ambush battles cannot be reinforced or bombarded.
  • Civics Rebalancing: Government and society civics have been updated with new effects and unlock conditions to enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Nuclear Program Updates: Missiles now feature a rebase command, allowing players to move them between silos, simplifying nuclear program management.
  • Expanded Game Settings: New game options include the ability to disable the Congress of Humankind, disable “vassalization”, and enable instant army movement (note: this setting is fixed once a game begins).
  • Cloud Saving on Games2Gether: Players logged into Games2Gether can now upload their profiles and saves, enabling seamless platform transfers.
  • New Scenario: In the Industrial Uprising scenario, players guide the Persians through the Industrial and Contemporary eras, managing unrest and aiming for stability.
