Indy Is Going To Look Good on The Pro
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will launch on PlayStation 5 in a matter of days. This of course is despite the game being developed by MachineGames who are part of Xbox Game Studios.
Indiana Jones is not the first Xbox title to make the jump to PlayStation and it certainly won’t be the last. Later in this very same month, Forza Horizon 5 will be racing its way onto Sony’s flagship console. If current rumours are also to be believed, we will also see Gears of War, Halo and Starfield make the move to PlayStation very soon.
In a blog post, Sony has shared some details on the performance we can expect from the PS5 version of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.
The Dualsense controller will play a big part here. Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will both be featured. The lightbar on the Dualsense will also play a big part. It will pulse yellow when NPC’s are searching for you. It will also pulse red when your health is low and green when health is restored.
It will also be optimised with the PS5’s SSD to ensure lightning-fast and seamless loading. The game will also achieve a high-quality resolution whilst painting a solid 60 FPS.
The PS5 Pro Will Have Extra Benefits
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will also be optimised for the PS5 Pro at launch. It will be visually enhanced on the Pro, ensuring higher frame rates at a native 4K resolution. It will also feature advanced ray tracing.
“Playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle at a native 4K resolution really is the best way to appreciate the level of detail the team at MachineGames has poured into every corner of the world,” says Jennings. “You could spend hours just walking around the different environments admiring every little thing, from each artifact in Marshall College’s impressive collection to the verdant beauty of Sukhothai’s jungles.”
