A Jurassic Crossover

Orbx has announced that an upcoming add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will crossover with the Jurassic World movie franchise.

The expansion will recreate iconic islands from the movies, including Isla Nubar, Isla Sorna and the surrounding Muertes Archipelago Islands. Each location will be recreated in accurate detail.

Pilots will be able to navigate the lush terrain, explore hidden nooks, discover the iconic structures of Jurassic Park and even catch glimpses of dinosaurs roaming freely.

The expansions will launch first on PC with the Xbox version to follow at a later date.

“As lifelong fans of the franchise, bringing Jurassic World’s awe-inspiring environments to the flight simulator has been a thrill for the Orbx team,” said Anna Cicognani, CEO at Orbx.

“Every moment you spend exploring feels like stepping right into the adventure: it’s daring, it’s immersive, it’s your own blockbuster. “We’re grateful to Universal Products & Experiences for collaborating with us to bring these iconic landscapes with a fresh sense of wonder and discovery to the game.”
