Tripwire Interactive has announced that Killing Floor 3 will launch worldwide on July 24 for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The co-op shooter was originally slated for a March 25 release, but the studio delayed the launch to address community feedback and refine the experience.
Since the delay, Tripwire has provided development updates through forums and social media, sharing improvements to design, animation, UI, and other elements. Digital pre-orders for the Standard, Deluxe, and Elite Nightfall Editions are now live across all supported platforms.
Set in 2091, Killing Floor 3 takes place 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. Players join Nightfall, a rebel group fighting against Horzine’s bioengineered Zeds, a relentless horde of monsters built to suppress humanity. The game supports up to six-player co-op, featuring wave-based combat, skill progression, and weapon customization.
Tripwire Interactive has indicated that support for Killing Floor 3 will continue post-launch, including new features and content updates. For more information and pre-orders, check out the game’s official website.
