The laid-back mail delivery title Lake is easily one of my all-time favourite games. Players take on the role of Meredith, who has taken a break from her busy city life to return home and cover her father’s mail delivery job while her parents are away on vacation.
It is such a chilled experience and I love going back to Providence Oaks for a replay every now and then.
Well, I will be heading back very soon as the game has just received a new update.
In this new update, players can now pet all the cats that live in the garden outside the home of Mildred, one of the game’s characters. Each cat will have a unique response and players will need to determine how to gain the trust of each cat in order to be able to pet them and perhaps even give a belly rub!
However, that is not all, as the console versions of Lake will now also include an endless mode so that when you finish the main story of Lake, you can keep on delivering the mail to the people of Providence Oaks! No story or dialogue, just nice chilled mail delivery around the town!
Lake is available to play in the cloud on PlayStation Cloud Gaming.
