Amazon Games has unveiled the latest roadmap for Lost Ark, detailing the major content updates planned from August to November 2024. The roadmap outlines significant upcoming changes and additions to the game, though it is not exhaustive and may be subject to change. August Highlights
Indigo Island: Located off Kurzan Continent, Indigo Island is an underwater location for players with an item level of 1600. The island features the single-player “Underwater Cave” dungeon with three explorable paths, offering rewards such as Elixirs.
Maharaka Festival: The festival continues with a new quest to extend the summer celebrations.
Style Book: This feature allows players to share character customizations, view others’ outfits, vote on favorites, and save presets.
QoL Improvements:
- Chaos Dungeon Weekly Purification Mission System: Players earn purification points and reward chests by completing missions, reducing fatigue from current rewards.
- Bound Gold System: Players can earn additional gold for progression systems, with details on its implementation to be shared later.
- Echidna Raid Adjustment: The Normal and Hard difficulties of Echidna will be reduced to accommodate the faster content release pace in the West.
September Highlights
North Kurzan: Players with an item level over 1600 who have completed prerequisite quests can explore North Kurzan, facing the Demon Legion and Chaos Guardians. This update includes new Adventurer’s Tome, Chaos Gate, World Boss, and achievements.
Tier 4 – The biggest endgame update includes:
- Kurzan Frontline: A new hack-and-slash content consuming 100 aura of resonance.
- Kenuart Fortress: A new dungeon for solo or 4-player parties, offering Tier 4 Relic equipment.
- New Gear Systems: Tier 4 introduces new accessories, engravings, and Ability Stones with different mechanics from Tier 3.
- Ark Passive System: This new character-building system includes three tabs: Evolution, Enlightenment, and Ascension.
Behemoth Raid: A 16-player raid granting Tier 4 materials and weapon Transcendence, requiring item level 1640.
Express Servers: These servers help new or returning players quickly progress to item level 1620 with various boosts and events.
Yoz’s Jar Season 3: Release of new Legendary Skins.
Ark Pass: A new pass to enhance gameplay.
October Highlights
Aegir Raid: A 2-gate Kazeros Raid featuring Akkan and Aegir, providing Tier 4 Ancient Gear.
Thaemine the First Removal: Thaemine the First Difficulty will be removed with the October update.
November Highlights
Hyper Awakening: New skills that can be strengthened through quests and specific conditions, including the final tab of the Ark Passive System.
Buzzling Island: A new honey-bee-themed island with adventures and quests.
New Pet Abilities: Random abilities granted to pets, assisting in Stronghold activities and re-rollable through training.
