Luna is Losing Another Batch of Games in October

Amazon’s Luna has stabilized its catalog over the past year, but it is not immune to game loses. Just recently, the service lost Steel Assault, The Forgotten City, Super Galaxy Squadron EX Turbo, and BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites. And in October, Luna will be losing even more popular titles. Including:

Fallout Amazon

This could be a blow to Luna, which has been struggling to attract and retain subscribers to Luna+. The loss of so many games, especially popular and critically acclaimed titles, will make it even more difficult for Luna to compete with other cloud gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Boosteroid and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

While it is sad to see so many good games leaving Luna, it is very likely that Amazon will add some more games before Christmas. If Luna can keep adding new and exciting titles to its catalog, it may be able to attract more subscribers and improve its competitiveness. The GOG partnership and Ubisoft+ integration certainly go a long way in times like this!

  1. What do you think of the ever closer integration of Amazon’s services and, above all, the integration of Luna into all the others? There is a separate category on Twitch called “Luna” and now a new note that you can also play the game on Luna. In addition, the Luna game page shows “current Twitch streams of the game” and for some time now, advertisements for Luna+ have also been shown on the Amazon page after every purchase. Not to mention the ever greater integration of Luna with Prime Gaming (a separate section at the top: “play the game on Luna now”)
