It appears that Meta is making moves with Microsoft. X user @NathieVR posted this image today highlighting a potential Meta Quest 3S with Xbox branding. According to the image, it appears the VR Device would package in an Xbox Controller along with the headset itself. Nothing is confirmed yet of course, but along with the photo a $399.99 price tag is discussed along with an elite strap and a 3 month Gamepass Ultimate subscription.
This Is A Meta Xbox?
This would be the first time Meta partnered officially with another platform. But, it would be a great option for cloud gamers interested in jumping into VR.
Xbox is also partnering with Republic of Gamers to create an Xbox Handheld PC ROG Ally console. This just marks another way gamers can access Gamepass and their libraries via the cloud. It’s already easy to stream games on a Meta Quest device, this branding just makes the match easier to identify. It seems that Microsoft is making their key messaging into a reality. It’s looking like everything really is becoming an Xbox.
Time will tell if this turns out to be official, or not. Right now we’ll keep our eyes peeled and float any more updates your way as they come. Are you interested in a Meta Quest 3S? Sound off in the comments below!
