After months of rumors and leaks, Microsoft and ASUS have finally announced the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X. Designed to mix the power of Xbox with the flexibility of Windows, both handhelds promise to deliver seamless gaming on the go, and are set to launch globally in select markets this holiday 2025.
The announcement, made in the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, highlights Microsoft’s continued investment in giving players freedom to enjoy their games across multiple platforms. Whether at home, on the move, or in the cloud. These devices build on that vision with full support for Xbox Play Anywhere, Game Pass, Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta), and Remote Play.
