One of the best co-op game franchises makes its return to Game Pass, after Monster Hunter World left the service two years ago. Those who missed playing alone or with friends, will be thrilled to jump back into the hunt with Rise. The latest entry in the Monster Hunter franchise adds many new foes, and returning faces to its repertoire of monsters. Players will also enjoy a new story set in Kamura Village, a locale that’s been assaulted by many ferocious monsters.

Released originally on Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Rise quickly became one of the favorite entries to the fans of the franchise. Now it’s your turn to Rise to the challenge and join the hunt! In Monster Hunter Rise, the latest installment in the award-winning and top-selling Monster Hunter series, you’ll become a hunter, explore brand-new maps and use a variety of weapons to take down fearsome monsters as part of an all-new storyline. This release also comes packed with a number of additional visual and performance enhancing optimizations.

The Hunter Hub offers multiplayer quests where up to four players can team up to take on targets together. Difficulty scaling ensures that whether you go solo or hit the hunt as a full four-person squad, it’s always a fair fight. We hope you have fun playing with your friends via the cloud!
