Get ready to deck the halls with fatalities! Warner Bros. Games has announced a series of free holiday-themed in-game events for Mortal Kombat 1, running from Dec. 19-30. The Towers of Time mode is getting festive with five unique events offering celebratory rewards, including new character palettes, for all players.
Holiday Towers of Time Events
Each event in the Towers of Time brings themed challenges and exclusive character palettes:
- Bloody Snow Tower (Dec. 19-25): Yuletide Necromancer & Christmas Evil palettes for Quan Chi
- Naughty List Tower (Dec. 21-26): Souls of Winter & Holiday Collection palettes for Ermac
- A Christmas Krampus Tower (Dec. 23-30): Holiday Hero & Winter Wonderman palettes for Takeda
- ‘Twas the Night Tower (Dec. 25-30): Angel on High & Holidazzle palettes for Cyrax
- Final Present Tower (Dec. 26-30): Eat, Drink and Be Lethal & Bah, Humbug palettes for Sektor
You can also purchase holiday-themed character skins for Frost and Sareena, along with returning favourites like Santa’s Helper Reptile, Krampus General Shao, and Mrs. Klause Kitana.
Join the Fight with the Khaos Reigns Kollection
For new players, the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Kollection is available now, including:
- The main game
- Khaos Reigns story expansion
- Previous Kombat Pack
- 1,250 Dragon Krystals (in-game currency)
Upgrade for New Content
Current owners can upgrade to the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Bundle, which features:
- New playable characters: Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Ghostface
